Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eloi Trejo started the match with the kick off. After 7 minutes of play, Paipote's Lucero Fehrman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamín Vivas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Salomón Arata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eloi Trejo's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Lucero Fehrman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Benjamín Vivas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reinaldo Lavanderos charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reinaldo Lavanderos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes Fachinal got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Lavanderos. After 19 played minutes, Paipote's Ramiro Hormeño shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benjamín Vivas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paipote reached it. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fachinal's goalkeeper Benjamín Vivas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Tobías Fierro fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paipote's protests and gave Tobías Fierro a yellow card for diving instead. Tobías Fierro kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Eloi Trejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salomón Arata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Arredondo charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Arredondo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Paipote's Mario Arredondo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Ramiro Fabri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Salomón Arata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salomón Arata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloi Trejo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Maluk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamín Vivas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Fachinal's Ramiro Fabri got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucero Fehrman in the 43rd minute of play forced Fachinal's goalkeeper Benjamín Vivas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fachinal's goalkeeper Benjamín Vivas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eloi Trejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salomón Arata having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victor Maluk to strike the kick off in the second half. After 59 played minutes Paipote got a freekick which was hit by Victor Maluk. Tobías Fierro hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. With his leg Benjamín Vivas managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Paipote's Lucero Fehrman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Victor Maluk came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Paipote fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Maluk couldn't finish the play. Salomón Arata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eloi Trejo's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Fachinal's Eloi Trejo got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paipote's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
