Nahuel Maralla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edmundo Le Fort had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Le Fort got free with Frances Bennet in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Chaucahue's Alejandro Artigas got a free kick in the 26th minute. Pacífico Aceituno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavi Ayala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Guarilihue AFC booed when Chaucahue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Martel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 played minutes Chaucahue got a freekick which was hit by Pinone Arlegui. Patxi Pastore came free in the 37th minute and tried to tip the ball over Pacífico Aceituno, but to the joy of Chaucahue's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Pacífico Aceituno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavi Ayala in the 41st minute of play. Hugo Orlando Abad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frances Bennet having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Orlando Abad to make the kick off. Frances Bennet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Le Fort's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Leonardo Montalva kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Hugo Orlando Abad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Frances Bennet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Chaucahue booed when Guarilihue AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Montalva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Nahuel Maralla could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Pacífico Aceituno however easily saved by the left post. After 78 played minutes Guarilihue AFC got a freekick which was hit by Patxi Pastore. Leonardo Montalva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chaucahue's Edmundo Le Fort got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Chaucahue's zone, Nahuel Maralla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pacífico Aceituno came out of the goal and Nahuel Maralla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
