With his leg Seran Infante managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Alcantara AFC's Adalberto Cerda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 12 minutes into the game, Renato Sandiford recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Seran Infante. Renato Sandiford showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Justo Torrejón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacob Aros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Aballay having to interfere. Adalberto Cerda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seran Infante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Sandiford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Coquiao AFC's zone, Adalberto Cerda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seran Infante came out of the goal and Adalberto Cerda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Álvaro Ariza charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Álvaro Ariza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Álvaro Ariza hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Renato Sandiford got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 37 played minutes Coquiao AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Doberti. Jacob Aros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gerardo Aballay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Renato Sandiford made the kick off in the second half. Bruno Abeliuk's late challenge caught a Alcantara AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Abeliuk helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Alcantara AFC booed when Coquiao AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Abeliuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seran Infante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Cerda in the 58th minute of the match. Seran Infante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Sandiford, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Alcantara AFC booed when Coquiao AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Ariza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute of the match Moncho Schaub shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerardo Aballay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 73 played minutes, Alcantara AFC's Jeremías Salvador shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Seran Infante came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alcantara AFC reached it. Renato Sandiford took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Seran Infante. Seran Infante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Adalberto Cerda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Jacob Aros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Seran Infante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Sandiford in the 91st minute of the match. Alcantara AFC's Renato Sandiford got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Coquiao AFC's Bruno Abeliuk got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Seran Infante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Sandiford in the 95th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Coquiao AFC's zone, Renato Sandiford stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seran Infante came out of the goal and Renato Sandiford tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
