An unexpectedly hard shot by Plácido Zaror in the 10th minute of play forced Morrillos's goalkeeper Raymundo Marileo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Miguel Laferte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Plácido Zaror had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Plácido Zaror fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymundo Marileo having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Lander Barril left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Morrillos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After having played for 35 minutes, Lander Barril managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morrillos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lander Barril was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roberto Ariza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zavier Higuera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Chinchin's goal looked a bit too open when Zavier Higuera came free, but Roberto Ariza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raymundo Marileo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Plácido Zaror, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Raymundo Marileo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Plácido Zaror, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
