César Asencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Montt FC's Filiberto Lautroup played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Asencio in the 4th minute of play. César Asencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Umirpa FC's Naelio Lafferte got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leoncio Mac Intyre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Orostegui having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Umirpa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leoncio Mac Intyre came free, but Vasco Orostegui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. César Asencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 23 in the game by Horacio Jesus Penschke from a close distance when the talented Vasco Orostegui managed to make a qualified save. Umirpa FC's players were relieved. When Darío Canepa fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Umirpa FC's protests and gave Darío Canepa a yellow card for diving instead. Darío Canepa hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Horacio Jesus Penschke's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Vasco Orostegui skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 29th minute, Quique Latuz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. From close distance Horacio Jesus Penschke pressed in the 1-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 33 minutes into the game. In the 38th minute César Asencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Lautroup saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filiberto Lautroup made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naelio Lafferte in the 40th minute of play. Vasco Orostegui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leoncio Mac Intyre's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Leoncio Mac Intyre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Orostegui having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 50 played minutes Umirpa FC got a freekick which was hit by Demetrio Campo. Filiberto Lautroup made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Naelio Lafferte sent off a good shot on target. Filiberto Lautroup stood somewhat misplaced when César Asencio came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 58 minute. Vasco Orostegui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Jesus Penschke, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute, César Asencio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filiberto Lautroup was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Montt FC fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Montt FC's Leoncio Mac Intyre looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Naelio Lafferte took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Filiberto Lautroup to make any attempt to save it. Leoncio Mac Intyre scored 3-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vasco Orostegui, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leoncio Mac Intyre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Vasco Orostegui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasco Orostegui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leoncio Mac Intyre in the 91st minute of the match. Leoncio Mac Intyre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Orostegui having to interfere. Leoncio Mac Intyre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Umirpa FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Montt FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
