Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Odón Alfonso kicked off to start the match. Filiberto Lautroup stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Davidovits's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Odón Alfonso kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mogote's zone, Horacio Jesus Penschke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cirilo Mosca came out of the goal and Horacio Jesus Penschke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute of the match Mogote got a corner. Montt FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Romelio Tuñon ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Romelio Tuñon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Montt FC's Filiberto Lautroup did a great save. In the 17th minute, Lolo Walton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute of the match Mogote got a corner. Montt FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Romelio Tuñon ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 22 minutes, Ofelio Montane mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mogote and the Montt FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Mogote was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ofelio Montane to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leoncio Mac Intyre in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cirilo Mosca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Horacio Jesus Penschke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cirilo Mosca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Davidovits in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filiberto Lautroup saved Montt FC from getting behind. Odón Alfonso struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Filiberto Lautroup didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mogote. 43 minutes into the match, Mogote's Mario Davidovits sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filiberto Lautroup narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Odón Alfonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Horacio Jesus Penschke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Cirilo Mosca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leoncio Mac Intyre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Mosca having to interfere. When Montt FC's Leoncio Mac Intyre in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mogote's goalie prevented a goal. Montt FC's Filiberto Lautroup played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odón Alfonso in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Mogote's goal looked a bit too open when Leoncio Mac Intyre came free, but Cirilo Mosca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, one of Mogote:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Juliano Arlegui shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Juliano Arlegui hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The long shot by Romelio Tuñon in the 79th minute really tested Filiberto Lautroup's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Cirilo Mosca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Jesus Penschke in the 81st minute of play. A collision led to Montt FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Bautista Renquin hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mogote walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
