Salomone Tamayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Hernán Reinaga having to interfere. After 4 played minutes Murmuntani AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eder Artaza. Carlos Hernán Reinaga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salomone Tamayo's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute, Salomone Tamayo made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Hernán Reinaga. Murmuntani AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Cresenciano Marcó hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Romualdo Landi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Savier Talcao in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, Campanacura AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerónimo Hasche to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Quintana charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgar Quintana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Campanacura AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Quintana to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Andolín Milan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Savier Talcao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Romualdo Landi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rosalio Jory's late challenge caught a Campanacura AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rosalio Jory helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Murmuntani AFC's Rosalio Jory got a free kick in the 26th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Savier Talcao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Murmuntani AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Savier Talcao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andolín Milan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romualdo Landi having to interfere. Campanacura AFC's Romualdo Landi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Savier Talcao in the 32nd minute of play. If Andolín Milan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Savier Talcao kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Romualdo Landi. That made the score 2-1 in the 38 minute of play. Romualdo Landi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Savier Talcao in the 44th minute of the match. Edgar Quintana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salomone Tamayo made a kick off. Emiliano Mercado kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When Edgar Quintana came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Campanacura AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Quintana couldn't finish the play. Savier Talcao took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romualdo Landi. Romualdo Landi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andolín Milan in the 69th minute of play forced Campanacura AFC's goalkeeper Romualdo Landi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Campanacura AFC defense, Savier Talcao kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romualdo Landi. The Campanacura AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romualdo Landi should have stopped the shot. The Murmuntani AFC fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Murmuntani AFC's Savier Talcao looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Murmuntani AFC's Carlos Hernán Reinaga got control of the ball when Edgar Quintana tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Campanacura AFC's Gerónimo Hasche got a free kick in the 90th minute. Murmuntani AFC's Andolín Milan got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Savier Talcao struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Romualdo Landi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murmuntani AFC. Murmuntani AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
