Rollo Olabarriaga started the match with the kick off. Adam Pradel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Simón Gaymer made a huge save. A collision led to Enquelga FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Adam Pradel hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Enquelga FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Confluencia a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Menéndez Justiniano, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Enquelga FC's Josías Alsina. 0-1. Josías Alsina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remi Delpiano in the 11th minute of the match. Sebastiano Marzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Josías Alsina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Pradel got free with Simón Gaymer in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Enquelga FC fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Enquelga FC's Valentín Pretot looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 37 minutes into the match, Confluencia's Remi Delpiano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josías Alsina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Remi Delpiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josías Alsina having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Enquelga FC's Rollo Olabarriaga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Simón Gaymer. That made the score 2-1 after 43 minutes of play. 47 minutes into the game, Remi Delpiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Confluencia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Enquelga FC the free kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastiano Marzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rollo Olabarriaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gervasio Olaso kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Josías Alsina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastiano Marzi in the 60th minute of play. If Adam Pradel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sebastiano Marzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Josías Alsina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacob Urriola's late challenge caught a Confluencia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Enquelga FC's zone, Sebastiano Marzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josías Alsina came out of the goal and Sebastiano Marzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Enquelga FC's goalkeeper Josías Alsina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sebastiano Marzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Josías Alsina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enquelga FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
