Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Taulemu's Carlos Gustavo Daly started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Robert Duval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severo Puertocarrero got free with Enrico Traverso in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Carlos Gustavo Daly came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Taulemu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Gustavo Daly couldn't finish the play. Taulemu's Carlos Gustavo Daly got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Gustavo Daly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Paniahue's Roy Frontaura got a free kick in the 17th minute. Lino Escalona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualberto Alessandri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Paniahue defense, Carlos Gustavo Daly kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lino Escalona. The Paniahue fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lino Escalona should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Paniahue's Roy Frontaura got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Taulemu's Ervigio Seraín broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Paniahue getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Roy Frontaura hit a great ball. Robert Duval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Traverso having to interfere. If Robert Duval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th match minute, Taulemu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esequiel Anriquez to maneuver through the defense. Robert Duval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Enrico Traverso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrico Traverso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Duval in the 41st minute of play. Enrico Traverso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Duval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

59 minutes into the match, Taulemu's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Puertocarrero came free, but Enrico Traverso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severo Puertocarrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Traverso having to interfere. Robert Duval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Enrico Traverso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severo Puertocarrero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrico Traverso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Taulemu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Gualberto Alessandri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrico Traverso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Puertocarrero in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th minute, Gualberto Alessandri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gualberto Alessandri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
