Ángel Larraeta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Humeres in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Apoquindo's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Humeres came free, but Ángel Larraeta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, one of Apoquindo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Apoquindo. Ángel Larraeta had in the 13thth minute some difficulties stopping Tomás Herzell's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Isidro Raposo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paco Quintero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Karmy having to interfere. Clemente Karmy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergi Andonaegui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Apoquindo's Teofilio Basualdo got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Franco Humeres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mario Alberto Sandiford hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Paco Quintero could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Clemente Karmy however easily saved by the left post. In the 44th minute Isidro Raposo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ángel Larraeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergi Andonaegui in the 47th minute of play forced Cutismaya FC's goalkeeper Clemente Karmy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Franco Humeres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ángel Larraeta having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidro Raposo got free with Ángel Larraeta in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Apoquindo's Ángel Larraeta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Apoquindo from getting a goal against them. Cutismaya FC's Clemente Karmy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergi Andonaegui in the 60th minute of play. When Sergi Andonaegui came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Apoquindo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergi Andonaegui couldn't finish the play. Cutismaya FC's Franco Humeres got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paco Quintero struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Clemente Karmy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apoquindo. 78 minutes into the match, Apoquindo's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Humeres came free, but Ángel Larraeta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cutismaya FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Sansón Andrews hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Paco Quintero sped through Cutismaya FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clemente Karmy. 91 minutes into the match, Cutismaya FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sergi Andonaegui came free, but Clemente Karmy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemente Karmy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paco Quintero in the 93rd minute of the match. Paco Quintero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cutismaya FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
