After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Remicio Fadda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Llancahue's supporters rose to their feet, but Remicio Fadda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruperto Cotapos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Ruperto Cotapos managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Llancahue's Pol Schulz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Remicio Fadda might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruperto Cotapos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Remicio Fadda ran back to his position shaking his head. Pol Schulz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ruperto Cotapos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Remicio Fadda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Cotapos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruperto Cotapos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Arias in the 70th minute of play. Ruperto Cotapos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pol Schulz in the 82nd minute of the match. After 91 played minutes, Llancahue's Manuelo Avilés shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ruperto Cotapos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Llancahue reached it. In the 98th minute Llancahue were awarded a corner. Juan Alfonso Adasme went to the cornerflag to take it.
