Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Huancarane's Darien Padilla started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Joaquin Herdoyza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute, Joaquin Herdoyza made a precise shot to the right of Fermín Noti. Huancarane's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Apolo Utreras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santiago's supporters rose to their feet, but Apolo Utreras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fermín Noti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fermín Noti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Herdoyza, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Fabián Unzueta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Darien Padilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Darien Padilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Darien Padilla came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Huancarane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darien Padilla couldn't finish the play. Raymundo Eastman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Enric Abud made a huge save. Enric Abud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darien Padilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 played minutes Huancarane got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Ferreiro. Joaquin Herdoyza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquin Herdoyza to strike the kick off in the second half. If Darien Padilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Raymundo Eastman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabián Unzueta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Fermín Noti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Santiago booed when Huancarane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Jarabran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enric Abud came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Huancarane's Darien Padilla. But to his dismay, Darien Padilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Santiago's Apolo Utreras got a free kick in the 70th minute. Siluna Fournier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enric Abud. Santiago's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Santiago's Enric Abud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darien Padilla in the 76th minute of play. Norino Marzullo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Ramiro Jarabran kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Fabián Unzueta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Darien Padilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Utreras kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Raymundo Eastman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Enric Abud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Darien Padilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raymundo Eastman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enric Abud having to interfere. Raymundo Eastman struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Enric Abud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huancarane. In the 98th minute, Fabián Unzueta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
