When Remicio Trejo came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Cabach fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remicio Trejo couldn't finish the play. Urtsín Danke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Julio Brunet's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Adán Farren charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adán Farren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cabach's Adán Farren got a free kick in the 10th minute. Mark Abarzuza kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Cululir FC's José Julio Brunet got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Remicio Trejo struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Abundio Jaras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabach. After 19 played minutes Cabach got a freekick which was hit by Remicio Trejo. A collision led to Cabach getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Remicio Trejo hit a great ball. José Julio Brunet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zavier Aragón might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Urtsín Danke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zavier Aragón ran back to his position shaking his head. Adán Farren got his second yellow card in the match during the 25th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Cabach's Adán Farren got a free kick in the 26th minute. Urtsín Danke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Julio Brunet, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Cululir FC's José Julio Brunet in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Marco Garfias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Cabach's Jon-Ander Talavera got a free kick in the 45th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Julio Brunet in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urtsín Danke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Mark Abarzuza fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cabach's protests and gave Mark Abarzuza a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cululir FC booed when Cabach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Abarzuza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cabach's Urtsín Danke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Julio Brunet in the 49th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Vivas was the one to do the kick off. When Jon-Ander Talavera fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cabach's protests and gave Jon-Ander Talavera a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd match minute, Cabach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon-Ander Talavera to maneuver through the defense. Eduard Guevara got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Abundio Jaras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. José Julio Brunet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Urtsín Danke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Vivas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abundio Jaras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Manuel Vivas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cululir FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
