Jose Esteban Orsterhont might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leovigildo Parrochia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jose Esteban Orsterhont ran back to his position shaking his head. Pinone Botero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leovigildo Parrochia having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Guallatiri FC's Miguel Ángel Sigorraga got a free kick in the 8th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Arangua had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Pablo Siredey. Tinguiririca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustaquio Arangua was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Eustaquio Arangua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustaquio Arangua could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Juan Pablo Siredey made a huge save. In the 22nd match minute, Tinguiririca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salbatore Llanos to maneuver through the defense. Juan Pablo Siredey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Manuel Lastarria, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Tinguiririca FC were furious when Pedro Manuel Oyarce was red carded, 24 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tinguiririca FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Juan Pablo Siredey went to the wrong direction when Alarico Cox was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Eustaquio Arangua could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Juan Pablo Siredey made a huge save. 31 minutes into the match, Tinguiririca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Manuel Lastarria came free, but Juan Pablo Siredey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leovigildo Parrochia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salbatore Llanos's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Hernán Camposano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tinguiririca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernán Camposano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leovigildo Parrochia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Pablo Siredey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Menéndez Angeloni, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Miguel Ángel Sigorraga hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Manuel Lastarria to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Tinguiririca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Manuel Lastarria came free, but Juan Pablo Siredey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pinone Botero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Leovigildo Parrochia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Guallatiri FC's Menéndez Angeloni got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Guallatiri FC's goalkeeper Leovigildo Parrochia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Juan Pablo Siredey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Arangua in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Eustaquio Arangua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eustaquio Arangua blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Pablo Siredey having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Manuel Lastarria in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Pablo Siredey saved Tinguiririca FC from getting behind. In the 75th minute, Hernán Camposano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute of the match Alarico Cox shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Pablo Siredey showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tinguiririca FC's goalkeeper Juan Pablo Siredey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frances Feloaga during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aristides Pincheira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juan Pablo Siredey. Tinguiririca FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tinguiririca FC's Juan Pablo Siredey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Manuel Lastarria in the 87th minute of play. Juan Manuel Lastarria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Eustaquio Arangua came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Guallatiri FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustaquio Arangua couldn't finish the play. Juan Pablo Siredey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Manuel Lastarria in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Guallatiri FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tinguiririca FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
