Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tito Wassermayer started the match with the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cutijmalla AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! Roy Huneeus hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Modesto Gredig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Niguel San Pedro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezmundo Maino in the 16th minute of the match. A collision led to Poyo getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Roy Huneeus hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Modesto Gredig got free with Niguel San Pedro in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Modesto Gredig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Niguel San Pedro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salbatore Solabarrieta in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Maffioletti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juan Maffioletti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salbatore Solabarrieta in the 35th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Poyo got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Abbott. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
After a defensive mix-up in Poyo's zone, Evaristo Parodi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Maffioletti came out of the goal and Evaristo Parodi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Maffioletti made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Evaristo Parodi sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cutijmalla AFC's goalkeeper Niguel San Pedro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Evaristo Parodi could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Juan Maffioletti however easily saved by the left post. 68 minutes into the match, Poyo's Tito Wassermayer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niguel San Pedro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Tito Wassermayer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Cutijmalla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Gredig came free, but Niguel San Pedro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Modesto Gredig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Modesto Gredig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Cutijmalla AFC booed when Poyo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Abbott didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Manns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Juan Maffioletti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Balendín Irarrázaval kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The long shot by Salbatore Garzón in the 94th minute really tested Juan Maffioletti's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Tito Wassermayer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niguel San Pedro having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
