Siluna Renard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureo Valdivieso in the 7th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Enzo De la Barra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Niquela FC and the Melinca AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Niquela FC's Enzo De la Barra got a free kick in the 16th minute. Aureo Valdivieso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siluna Renard having to interfere. Fernando Requena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tito Zaldivar went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inocente Reinaga during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes Melinca AFC got a freekick which was hit by Inocente Reinaga. In the 31st minute of the match Elazar Arévalo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Requena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Melinca AFC's zone, Tito Zaldivar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Requena came out of the goal and Tito Zaldivar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tito Zaldivar struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Fernando Requena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Niquela FC. A collision led to Melinca AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Inocente Reinaga hit a great ball. If Baraquiel Quintana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baraquiel Quintana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Baraquiel Quintana made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Aureo Valdivieso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siluna Renard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siluna Renard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristiano Dareport's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Siluna Renard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Dareport in the 59th minute of play. Siluna Renard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureo Valdivieso in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baraquiel Quintana in the 62nd minute of play forced Melinca AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Requena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baraquiel Quintana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Requena having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Melinca AFC got a freekick which was hit by León Castex. After 68 minutes, Teodor Marine mouthed his way into the referee's book. The supporters of Melinca AFC booed when Niquela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Marine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aureo Valdivieso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siluna Renard having to interfere. If Aureo Valdivieso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albino Bastías took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Siluna Renard. Niquela FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Niquela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aureo Valdivieso came free, but Siluna Renard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Aureo Valdivieso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siluna Renard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute Cristiano Dareport shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siluna Renard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siluna Renard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Dareport, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Aureo Valdivieso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melinca AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureo Valdivieso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siluna Renard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute, Baraquiel Quintana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aureo Valdivieso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aureo Valdivieso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siluna Renard having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Niquela FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
