Salbatore Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Escalante in the 13th minute of play forced Capellania AFC's goalkeeper Mariano Valdivieso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes Capellania AFC got a freekick which was hit by Selmo Moscoso. After 21 minutes of play, Capellania AFC's Selmo Moscoso made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulín Flethechar was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute, Juan Pedro Gorbea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Elodio Abaroa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Teobaldo Escalante's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mariano Valdivieso was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After 31 played minutes Capellania AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pierre Bishara. In the 32nd match minute Cristián Matiuzzi ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Mariano Valdivieso. 1-2. Salbatore Brito stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Mamina AFC's defenders and the ball went out. Capellania AFC appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. Selmo Moscoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Paulín Flethechar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Selmo Moscoso to make the kick off. Capellania AFC's Mariano Valdivieso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elodio Abaroa in the 52nd minute of play. Paulín Flethechar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selmo Moscoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Selmo Moscoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulín Flethechar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Selmo Moscoso ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Elodio Abaroa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mamina AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elodio Abaroa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Valdivieso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teobaldo Escalante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Valdivieso having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Capellania AFC's Juan Pedro Gorbea got a free kick in the 76th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elodio Abaroa in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Valdivieso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Salbatore Brito struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Paulín Flethechar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capellania AFC. Mamina AFC's Paulín Flethechar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selmo Moscoso in the 87th minute of play. Selmo Moscoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Mamina AFC's Cristián Matiuzzi got a free kick in the 94th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mamina AFC's zone, Narcomillo Maristany stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulín Flethechar came out of the goal and Narcomillo Maristany tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Capellania AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Capellania AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
