Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vicens Charme started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Angel Tellerias in the 4th minute of play forced Caliboro FC's goalkeeper José Julio Kilpatrick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8thth minute of the game Vicens Charme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quillota's Isaiás Comas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ricart Mannhardt struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Isaiás Comas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caliboro FC. The Caliboro FC fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Caliboro FC's Ricart Mannhardt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A hard shot 22 in the game by Ceandro Paris from a close distance when the talented José Julio Kilpatrick managed to make a qualified save. Caliboro FC's players were relieved. Luis Angel Tellerias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. José Julio Kilpatrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ceandro Paris got free with José Julio Kilpatrick in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Caliboro FC's zone, Luis Angel Tellerias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Julio Kilpatrick came out of the goal and Luis Angel Tellerias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ceandro Paris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Angel Tellerias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. José Julio Kilpatrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Julio Kilpatrick came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Quillota's Ceandro Paris. But to his dismay, Ceandro Paris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ceandro Paris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Julio Kilpatrick having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Quillota's José Julio Kilpatrick threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Angel Tellerias, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Caliboro FC's José Julio Kilpatrick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Caliboro FC from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luis Angel Tellerias made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Quillota's Ceandro Paris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Julio Kilpatrick made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Edgar Campos hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. If Luis Angel Tellerias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Campos's late challenge caught a Caliboro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Campos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Edgar Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Luis Angel Tellerias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Julio Kilpatrick. Caliboro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Angel Tellerias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Ceandro Paris might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Julio Kilpatrick. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ceandro Paris ran back to his position shaking his head. Caliboro FC were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Quillota's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anselmo Aranibar took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Quillota's goalie and right to Joaquin Arteta. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Quillota's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Quillota were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Caliboro FC for a fine match.
