Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ubaldo Matildo Trincado kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Cogoti FC's Uriel Ancieta got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Rainerio Cifuentes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lander Iribarren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rainerio Cifuentes in the 8th minute of the match. Rosalio Falconi hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quim Palau in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lander Iribarren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lander Iribarren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rainerio Cifuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Cogoti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Matildo Trincado came free, but Serafín Castelblanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ubaldo Matildo Trincado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Serafín Castelblanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, one of Cogoti FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cogoti FC. Ubaldo Matildo Trincado charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ubaldo Matildo Trincado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Serafín Castelblanco made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Luis Angel Pemjean sent off a good shot on target. If Luis Angel Pemjean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Angel Pemjean's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafín Castelblanco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Arnoldo Acasuso hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Quim Palau made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Rainerio Cifuentes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cogoti FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rainerio Cifuentes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lander Iribarren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartolomé Hoefler during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cogoti FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Bartolomé Hoefler hit a great ball. Quim Palau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lander Iribarren having to interfere. The supporters of Cogoti FC booed when Saracota was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salbatore Arroyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute Quim Palau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lander Iribarren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 65 minutes, Rainerio Cifuentes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cogoti FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rainerio Cifuentes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rainerio Cifuentes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Lander Iribarren made a huge save. In the 69th minute of the match, Rainerio Cifuentes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lander Iribarren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bartolomé Hoefler got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 74th match minute, Cogoti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolomé Hoefler to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Luis Angel Pemjean got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Basilio Uriarte hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Ubaldo Matildo Trincado notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Cogoti FC's Serafín Castelblanco. Serafín Castelblanco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 95 played minutes Saracota got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Evans. Saracota's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
