Juan Cristóbal Deramond didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Quique Ruminas went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 11 minutes, Remicio Bastarrica mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saguani AFC and the Rengo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Saguani AFC's Remicio Bastarrica got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Silvio Bafalluy in the 13th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Adriel Reygadas kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 17th minute, Silvio Bafalluy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, Amador Galan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quique Ruminas struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Juan Cristóbal Deramond didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saguani AFC. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Telmo Celis to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quique Ruminas got free with Juan Cristóbal Deramond in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Esequiel Martini hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Amador Galan hit a great ball. If Quique Ruminas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the game, Rengo AFC's Oliverio Martel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adriel Reygadas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo Celis in the 90th minute of play forced Rengo AFC's goalkeeper Juan Cristóbal Deramond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Oliverio Martel came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Rengo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliverio Martel couldn't finish the play. Oliverio Martel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Rengo AFC's Filipo Patrickson got a free kick in the 95th minute. With a little luck, Rengo AFC's Juan Cristóbal Deramond got control of the ball when Quique Ruminas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rengo AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Saguani AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
