Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Andreo Veloso made the kick off which started today's match. Tancredo Avaria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Haroldo Parada having to make a save. When Colchagua's Paulo Abufom in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gatico's goalie prevented a goal. Andreo Veloso might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelillo Weisser. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andreo Veloso ran back to his position shaking his head. Haroldo Parada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Formas in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Colchagua booed when Gatico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Majluf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Formas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Haroldo Parada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Gatico getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Eusebio Majluf hit a great ball. Gatico's Haroldo Parada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Abufom in the 22nd minute of play. Haroldo Parada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Formas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 minutes Gatico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rodolfo Freudenburg who took care of the corner kick. If Christian Formas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Abufom was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Colchagua's Christian Formas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haroldo Parada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Viviano Aguacero's late challenge caught a Gatico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viviano Aguacero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th match minute, Colchagua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viviano Aguacero to maneuver through the defense. Andreo Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Andreo Veloso came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Gatico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreo Veloso couldn't finish the play. If Christian Formas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Abufom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Haroldo Parada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Abufom in the 69th minute of play forced Gatico's goalkeeper Haroldo Parada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Castillo in the 73rd minute of play forced Colchagua's goalkeeper Angelillo Weisser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Formass short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Haroldo Parada to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Paulo Abufom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th match minute, Colchagua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viviano Aguacero to maneuver through the defense. Andreo Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Angelillo Weisser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
