Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Máximo Cornejo started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Marcel Deves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mela and the Curimon players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Mela got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Deves. Ervigio Lindsay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Máximo Cornejo in the 8th minute of the match. Victoro Ariztía scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ervigio Lindsay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14thth minute of the game Victoro Ariztía who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curimon's Ervigio Lindsay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Máximo Cornejo scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ervigio Lindsay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Curimon's zone, Tamariz Fontaner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ervigio Lindsay came out of the goal and Tamariz Fontaner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mela's Wilson Matiuzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peio Wittig in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Curimon's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Cornejo came free, but Ervigio Lindsay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ervigio Lindsay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoro Ariztía in the 26th minute of play. Máximo Cornejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ervigio Lindsay having to interfere. Mela's Wilson Matiuzzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Mela from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute of the match Ernesto Daniel Jáuregui shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ervigio Lindsay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 41st minute, Tamariz Fontaner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 minutes, Luciano Moxo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curimon and the Mela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luciano Moxo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peio Wittig to make the kick off. Wilson Matiuzzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peio Wittig, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Wilson Matiuzzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Sierra in the 57th minute of play. Curimon's Jonathan Sierra got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Máximo Cornejo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ervigio Lindsay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Victoro Ariztía managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mela's supporters rose to their feet, but Victoro Ariztía was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ervigio Lindsay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Máximo Cornejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ervigio Lindsay having to interfere. Mela's Wilson Matiuzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peio Wittig in the 72nd minute of play. Ervigio Lindsay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Máximo Cornejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Sierra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Matiuzzi was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Victoro Ariztía could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Ervigio Lindsay made a huge save. In the 91st minute, Victoro Ariztía made a precise shot to the right of Ervigio Lindsay. Curimon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mela eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
