Ervigio Lindsay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Francisco Aranguea in the 21st minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Curimon got a freekick which was hit by Severino Ávila. Ervigio Lindsay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Francisco Aranguea in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Sierra in the 27th minute of play forced Recinto's goalkeeper Fidel Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Sierra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeronimo Patiño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ervigio Lindsay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Marcos Francisco Aranguea rounded Curimon's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. A collision led to Recinto getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Josías De la Quintana hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Recinto's goal looked a bit too open when Peio Wittig came free, but Fidel Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Marcos Francisco Aranguea made the kick off in the second half. In the 67th minute Marcos Francisco Aranguea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ervigio Lindsay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Curimon's Gonzalo Garland got a free kick in the 75th minute. Ervigio Lindsay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Patiño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jonathan Sierra came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Curimon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Sierra couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Francisco Aranguea in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ervigio Lindsay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Patiño in the 85th minute of play forced Curimon's goalkeeper Ervigio Lindsay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
