Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Eleazar Aguacero started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Colicheo booed when Guancarane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martino Codina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamín Font scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filomeno Rosende, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Colicheo's Gabriel Perochena got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Guancarane's Anastasio Colarte got a free kick in the 12th minute. Filomeno Rosende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleazar Aguacero in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Lucio Jose María Antúnez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamín Font fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Rosende having to interfere. Benjamín Font recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Donato Lizondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martino Codina's late challenge caught a Colicheo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martino Codina helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes Guancarane got a freekick which was hit by Martino Codina. Gabriel Perochena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Abundio Morandé tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Guancarane's goalkeeper Abundio Morandé had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donato Lizondo. After a defensive mix-up in Guancarane's zone, Gabriel Perochena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abundio Morandé came out of the goal and Gabriel Perochena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abundio Morandé made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Donato Lizondo sent off a good shot on target. Abundio Morandé was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Gabriel Perochena capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gabriel Perochena really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Perochena to strike the kick off in the second half. If Eleazar Aguacero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Perochena scored 2-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abundio Morandé, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Filomeno Rosende made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Benjamín Font sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Félix Jofre during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 played minutes Guancarane got a freekick which was hit by Félix Jofre. Eleazar Aguacero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Guancarane's Félix Jofre got a free kick in the 88th minute. Ambrosio Allard was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Donato Lizondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Abundio Morandé tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guancarane's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
