Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Albano Arredondo started the match with the kick off. Quidico's Amador Ureta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eber Dareport in the 3rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogerio Allard got free with Aníbal Utrera in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Rogerio Allard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aníbal Utrera made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Rogerio Allard sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eber Dareport in the 29th minute of play forced Quidico's goalkeeper Amador Ureta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 minutes Quidico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ruperto Villouta who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Balendín Swett heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 48th minute, Salvatore Formas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Salvatore Formas was the one to do the kick off. Aníbal Utrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvatore Formas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aníbal Utrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvatore Formas, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Salvatore Formas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Aníbal Utrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Charahue FC's zone, Salvatore Formas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aníbal Utrera came out of the goal and Salvatore Formas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Eber Dareport fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Amador Ureta, passed just outside the right post. 72 minutes into the match, Quidico's goalkeeper Amador Ureta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albano Arredondo. Albano Arredondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quidico's Amador Ureta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Quidico from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Quidico booed when Charahue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorencio Suloaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Quidico's Aureliano Oyanedel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 81 played minutes Quidico got a freekick which was hit by Adam Albarracin. When Albano Arredondo came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Charahue FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albano Arredondo couldn't finish the play. After 85 played minutes Quidico got a freekick which was hit by Adam Albarracin. If Albano Arredondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albano Arredondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eber Dareport sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Quidico's Ignacio Ripamonti got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Quidico supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Charahue FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Charahue FC.
