José Ignacio Marchetti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norino Panzer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to Guacarhue getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Fabio Sola hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Guacarhue's goalkeeper Norino Panzer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Antonio Sigorraga. Abundio Pascuala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Carranza having to interfere. Norino Panzer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Ignacio Marchetti in the 16th minute of the match. Norino Panzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Ignacio Marchetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Ignacio Marchetti kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21stth minute of the game Florentino Carneiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matancilla's Elias Carranza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abundio Pascuala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guacarhue's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leonel Guisado in the 30th minute. Alfredo Suloaga tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Elias Carranza. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 30th minute. If José Ignacio Marchetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Antonio Sigorraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Norino Panzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norino Panzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Ignacio Marchetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Guacarhue's goalkeeper Norino Panzer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Antonio Sigorraga. José Ignacio Marchetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Antonio Sigorraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Norino Panzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Florentino Carneiro made the kick off in the second half. Manuel Antonio Sigorraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Norino Panzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Ignacio Marchetti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Norino Panzer having to make a save. Manuel Antonio Sigorraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Matancilla's Elias Carranza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Matancilla from getting a goal against them. Florentino Carneiro took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elias Carranza. Elias Carranza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Abundio Pascuala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Elias Carranza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Carranza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Florentino Carneiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 75 minute of play. Manuel Antonio Sigorraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guacarhue's Norino Panzer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Ignacio Marchetti in the 87th minute of play. Norino Panzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Antonio Sigorraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Guacarhue's goal looked a bit too open when José Ignacio Marchetti came free, but Norino Panzer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Abundio Pascuala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elias Carranza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Carneiro in the 95th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Carneiro in the 97th minute of play forced Matancilla's goalkeeper Elias Carranza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Guacarhue players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
