The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Francisco Quesada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliverio Iglesias, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute, Ramon María Plata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramon María Plata's late challenge caught a Caracha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. But to his dismay, Roberto Coromina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 31 minutes into the game, Oscar Tupper was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caracha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pudeto the free kick. A collision led to Caracha FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Oscar Tupper hit a great ball. Bruno Velez's late challenge caught a Pudeto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Velez helped the player get up and apologised. Pudeto's Jonathan Salin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Maffey in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roberto Coromina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliverio Iglesias in the 56th minute of play forced Caracha FC's goalkeeper Francisco Quesada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliverio Iglesias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Quesada having to interfere. Ofelio Araya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Francisco Quesada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oliverio Iglesias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Quesada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 74th play minutes Ofelio Araya shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Francisco Quesada and just under the crossbar into goal. Caracha FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
