Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adalberto Espina took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adalberto Espina in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eric Nogueira saved Gessel from getting behind. 14 minutes into the game, Zebulón Restat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estancia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gessel the free kick. 17 minutes into the match, Estancia's Alexandro Robledo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eric Nogueira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Alexandro Robledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandro Robledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Eric Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abner Pareja took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giancarlo Pascal. Giancarlo Pascal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 35 minutes into the match, Gessel's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Espina came free, but Eric Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Estancia's Zebulón Restat dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Adalberto Espina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Eric Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Estancia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gessel were winning 1-2.

Gessel's Eric Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipo Aiach in the 56th minute of play. Adalberto Espina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Nogueira having to interfere. Alexandro Robledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Eric Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Alexandro Robledo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estancia's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandro Robledo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Nogueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the game, Estancia's Alexandro Robledo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eric Nogueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Felipo Aiach missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 71 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Eric Nogueira right hand side. Gessel's Eric Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto Espina in the 73rd minute of play. Abner Pareja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Giancarlo Pascal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Alfonso Scapini during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Juan Alfonso Scapini hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Gessel's Juan Alfonso Scapini dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. In the 92nd minute of the match Felipo Larrañeta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giancarlo Pascal skillfully saved the ball. Abner Pareja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giancarlo Pascal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Alfonso Scapini, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Estancia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gessel's performance. The match ended with a win for Gessel.
