Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Carlos Echandia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Nacho Parga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aníbal Bello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nacho Parga having to interfere. A collision led to Romaza AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Eber Navarro hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, Romaza AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tamariz Palacios came free, but Nacho Parga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Casimiro Vigil came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Romaza AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Vigil couldn't finish the play.
