Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Quintero's Carlo Rengifo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Quintero from getting a goal against them. After 4 minutes Quintero's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arnaldo Minassian who took care of the corner kick. Adelmo Zamorano kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Odón Iturrieta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Soruco getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Reinaldo Marchetti hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the game, Odón Iturrieta lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Carlo Rengifo. Jimeno Chiguaicura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlín Cornejo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After 24 minutes, Sansón Aboitiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soruco and the Quintero players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jimeno Chiguaicura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlín Cornejo having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Odón Iturrieta fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Carlo Rengifo, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of Soruco booed when Quintero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rexino Sierralta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Lepes short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Carlo Rengifo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Quintero's Carlo Rengifo got control of the ball when Rodrigo Lepe tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Marcelo Peede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Orlín Cornejo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jimeno Chiguaicura was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Soruco getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Alcadio Guesalaga hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Quintero's Leandro Zorrilla tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Reinaldo Marchetti hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Rodrigo Lepe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soruco's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Lepe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlo Rengifo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Quintero's zone, Odón Iturrieta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlo Rengifo came out of the goal and Odón Iturrieta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rexino Sierralta kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Quintero's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Lepe came free, but Carlo Rengifo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Marcelo Peede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Orlín Cornejo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Lepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Rengifo having to interfere. José Marcelo Peede succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 81st playminute. After having played for 85 minutes, Odón Iturrieta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soruco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Odón Iturrieta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Odón Iturrieta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soruco's supporters rose to their feet, but Odón Iturrieta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlo Rengifo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacob Deneken's late challenge caught a Soruco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacob Deneken helped the player get up and apologised. Jacob Deneken kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Odón Iturrieta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Quintero players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Soruco.
