After 8 minutes, Horacio Jesus Alsina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curimanqui AFC and the Mayol players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mayol booed when Curimanqui AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Jesus Alsina didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltazar Monsalve couldn't finish the play. Baltazar Monsalve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 42ndth minute of the game Gaitano Matus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curimanqui AFC's Gaspar Beitia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baltazar Monsalve to make the kick off. Teodor Patrickson charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodor Patrickson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Curimanqui AFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Teodor Patrickson hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tito Arteaga in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zebulón Labarca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gaitano Matus in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gaspar Beitia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Curimanqui AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mayol for a fine match.
