Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gaitano Peacock made the kick off which started today's match. The crowd rose to their feet as Urtsín Hormazabal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Honorio León. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Baldomiro Damjan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Fariña in the 6th minute of the match. Petrohue's Disvandis Mancilla shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 10th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Honorio León but with some difficulty. 17 minutes into the game, Andolín Fabriy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Honorio León was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Gregorio Fariña's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomiro Damjan was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. If Ervigio Brizuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Urtsín Hormazabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregorio Fariña struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Baldomiro Damjan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guancarane AFC. In the 32nd match minute, Petrohue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Disvandis Mancilla to maneuver through the defense. Baldomiro Damjan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ervigio Brizuela in the 35th minute of the match. When Ismael Nazario Binfa fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Petrohue's protests and gave Ismael Nazario Binfa a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Petrohue fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for Guancarane AFC. Florencio Schlubach stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Baldomiro Damjan. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a rather tough play, Guancarane AFC's Haroldo Cortazar got a free kick in the 54th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Petrohue's goalkeeper Baldomiro Damjan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregorio Fariña. In the 61st minute Andolín Fabriy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio León saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomiro Damjan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ervigio Brizuela in the 64th minute of the match. If Andolín Fabriy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomiro Damjan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ervigio Brizuela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Fariña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gregorio Fariña came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Guancarane AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Fariña couldn't finish the play. Honorio León made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andolín Fabriy in the 94th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urtsín Hormazabal in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorio León saved Guancarane AFC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Petrohue had won after a very even match.
