Quile FC's Felipo Peralta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Orrego in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Quile FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Moncho Parrau hit a great ball. When Ruesga Oyanedel fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perales's protests and gave Ruesga Oyanedel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Ruesga Oyanedel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marciano Diban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mercé Neruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipo Peralta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norberto Orrego's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Quile FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Jorge Vicente Rouse hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Quile FC's zone, Maximino Oyanedel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipo Peralta came out of the goal and Maximino Oyanedel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jorge Vicente Rouse was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 38 minutes had been played. After 39 played minutes Quile FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Vicente Rouse. Felipo Peralta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Orrego, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Perales's goal looked a bit too open when Mercé Neruda came free, but Marciano Diban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute, Moncho Parrau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marciano Diban was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Norberto Orrego to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norberto Orrego in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felipo Peralta saved Quile FC from getting behind. Moncho Parrau hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. A collision led to Perales getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Maximino Oyanedel hit a great ball. Feliciano Ahumada kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute of the match Marcos Francisco Wallffiguer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felipo Peralta skillfully saved the ball. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Mercé Neruda got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Feliciano Ahumada hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Maximino Oyanedel struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Felipo Peralta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perales. Felipo Peralta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Oyanedel, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Perales's Maximino Oyanedel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felipo Peralta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Norberto Orrego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipo Peralta having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Mercé Neruda made a precise shot to the right of Marciano Diban. Perales's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.
