The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Perales's Casimiro Grillo got a free kick in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the Perales defense, Diego Armando Agurto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marciano Diban. The Perales fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marciano Diban should have stopped the shot. Gerónimo Fevre charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerónimo Fevre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Perales booed when Soco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerónimo Fevre didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Carlos Alberto Cordoba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Diego Armando Agurto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perales's Norberto Orrego got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Oyanedel couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Perales's goalkeeper Marciano Diban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albino Von Roques. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Norberto Orrego managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perales's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Orrego was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Odín Davagnino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Odín Davagnino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norberto Orrego went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Perales had played much better football throughout.
