Quiriquina AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipo Harun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tobías Zárate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipo Harun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rubén Advis came out and tried to block the shot, but Felipo Harun slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 37th minute. Felipo Harun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giancarlo Porras was the one to do the kick off. Rubén Advis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobías Zárate went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Felipo Harun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quiriquina AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipo Harun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubén Advis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute Tobías Zárate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubén Advis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Buchupureo's Fidelio Pomar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elodio Gredig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Buchupureo booed when Quiriquina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Labbé didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidelio Pomar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elodio Gredig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Buchupureo's zone, Felipo Harun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubén Advis came out of the goal and Felipo Harun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felipo Harun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubén Advis having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Buchupureo's goal looked a bit too open when Tobías Zárate came free, but Rubén Advis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Giancarlo Porras fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Fidelio Pomar struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Elodio Gredig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buchupureo. If Fidelio Pomar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pablo Aguirre hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute Buchupureo were awarded a corner. Odón Escuti went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Buchupureo's Odón Escuti to fire away a dangerous shot which Elodio Gredig despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Odón Escuti hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Quiriquina AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
