After 21 played minutes Guindos got a freekick which was hit by Sisebuto Dareport. Quechereguas's Ceandro Payten got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ervigio Barahona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Antonio Pumarino having to interfere. In the 27th minute Ervigio Barahona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Antonio Pumarino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Guindos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marino Cuadra to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Quechereguas. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Guindos. Romualdo Iparraguirre stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ricart Huaquil. 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Echedey Blanc made the kick off in the second half. Ervigio Barahona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Guindos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Ervigio Barahona scored to the left of an out of position Francisco Antonio Pumarino, making the score, 1-1.
