Angelillo Mallorquin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Cumpeu booed when Cariquima FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuelo Carcavilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Cariquima FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Honorio Canitrot should have stopped the shot. Gaitano Martínez Lamas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Xabier Pizarro made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peio Ormeño in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorio Canitrot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelo Ponce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Canitrot having to interfere. Cumpeu walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
