Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luis Eduardo Echaiz took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Cariquima FC's Gaitano Martínez Lamas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aurelio Abello. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Chaucahue AFC's Aurelio Abello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Eduardo Echaiz in the 8th minute of play. Aurelio Abello made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Gaitano Martínez Lamas sent off a good shot on target. Manuelo Mofre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Canitrot having to interfere. In the 14th minute Juan Eduardo Peralta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Canitrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Manuelo Mofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Chaucahue AFC booed when Cariquima FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josías Honorato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Eduardo Peralta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Honorio Canitrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Eduardo Echaiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Abello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Honorio Canitrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuelo Mofre in the 28th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Juan Eduardo Peralta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Canitrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Francisco Arlegui hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuelo Mofre to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Gaitano Martínez Lamas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cariquima FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaitano Martínez Lamas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manuelo Mofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Manuelo Mofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 67 minutes into the game, Josías Honorato was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cariquima FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chaucahue AFC the free kick. A collision led to Cariquima FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Josías Honorato hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes Chaucahue AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Francisco Arlegui. Julián Llana hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Manuelo Carcavilla hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Cariquima FC's Honorio Canitrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuelo Mofre in the 77th minute of play. After having played for 81 minutes, Luis Eduardo Echaiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cariquima FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Eduardo Echaiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 85 played minutes Chaucahue AFC got a freekick which was hit by José Ignacio Macuer. Juan Eduardo Peralta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Honorio Canitrot made a huge save. Cariquima FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
