Domingo Zelada made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Arturo Larralde sent off a good shot on target. Ofelio Palma hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Topocho Maas during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Almendro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Topocho Maas to maneuver through the defense. Arturo Larralde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Arturo Larralde put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Domingo Zelada. Matias Valdebenito struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Domingo Zelada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Planchada FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Valdebenito in the 22nd minute of play forced Almendro's goalkeeper Domingo Zelada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 played minutes Almendro got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Vicencio. Planchada FC's Arturo Larralde got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Arturo Larralde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Planchada FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Larralde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingo Zelada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Enrique Mariano Porras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zebulón Melgarejo scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Podador Rio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Arturo Larralde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingo Zelada acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 49th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Héctor Echaurren. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matias Valdebenito made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Planchada FC's zone, Ofelio Palma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Podador Rio came out of the goal and Ofelio Palma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Planchada FC's goalkeeper Podador Rio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Mariano Porras. 66 minutes into the match, Planchada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zebulón Melgarejo came free, but Podador Rio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 played minutes Almendro got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Unda. Domingo Zelada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Héctor Echaurren in the 68th minute of play. Domingo Zelada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Larralde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ofelio Palma kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Aurelio Abufhele's late challenge caught a Planchada FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelio Abufhele helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Almendro! The referee gave Planchada FC a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Héctor Echaurren, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Almendro's Domingo Zelada. 2-1. Domingo Zelada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Planas, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, Almendro's Ofelio Palma got a free kick in the 82nd minute. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Zebulón Melgarejo took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Podador Rio to make any attempt to save it. Zebulón Melgarejo succeeded in the game's 100th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3.
