Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juan Carlos Sabater started the match with the kick off. After having played for 8 minutes, Juan María Abumohor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Empedrado AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan María Abumohor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelo Barbaste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Carlos Sabater in the 11th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Juan Carlos Sabater managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quiuna AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Carlos Sabater was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Barbaste breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Alejandro Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Marc Word showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Ignacio Van Schowen in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute Juan Carlos Sabater shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barbaste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Ignacio Van Schowen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Word having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Ignacio Van Schowen in the 41st minute of play forced Quiuna AFC's goalkeeper Marc Word to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rdth minute of the game Francisco Ignacio Van Schowen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quiuna AFC's Marc Word was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Quiuna AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Empedrado AFC were winning 0-2.

With a little luck, Quiuna AFC's Marc Word got control of the ball when Francisco Ignacio Van Schowen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Francisco Ignacio Van Schowen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Marc Word tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Empedrado AFC's goal looked a bit too open when José Alejandro Recabal came free, but Marcelo Barbaste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute of the match Rainerio Sobuage shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelo Barbaste showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If José Alejandro Recabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marc Word made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Francisco Ignacio Van Schowen sent off a good shot on target. Aldo Adams kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Francisco Ignacio Van Schowens short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Marc Word to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 86th minute Juan Carlos Sabater shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barbaste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Empedrado AFC's Marcelo Barbaste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Carlos Sabater in the 88th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Baraquiel Arens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quiuna AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Empedrado AFC the free kick. Baraquiel Arens hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Empedrado AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
