After 4 played minutes Maitencillo got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Ormaechea. 11 minutes into the match, Coyo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto León came free, but Luis Alberto Ceron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ruperto León had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernán Bustunzuria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 19th minute, Juan Ignacio Landman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alifonso Diez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Anatibia having to interfere. Ulises Molinare took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luis Alberto Ceron. Luis Alberto Ceron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alifonso Diez in the 30th minute of play forced Maitencillo's goalkeeper Enzo Anatibia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Anatibia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Ignacio Landman in the 34th minute of play. Alifonso Diez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Enzo Anatibia was a little too slow when Juan Ignacio Landman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-1. Hernán Bustunzuria kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruperto León in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Alberto Ceron saved Coyo AFC from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alifonso Diez made a kick off. If Alifonso Diez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Coyo AFC fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Coyo AFC's Juan Ignacio Landman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ruperto León sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Alberto Ceron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto León, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulises Molinare got free with Luis Alberto Ceron in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
