Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reyes Vives kicked off to start the match. When Edelmiro Bustunzuria came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Chaihuin AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edelmiro Bustunzuria couldn't finish the play. A nice corner shot did that Romeo Guevara got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Higinio Letelier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maitencillo's goalkeeper Higinio Letelier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 18 played minutes Maitencillo got a freekick which was hit by Quim Duarte. Chaihuin AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Romeo Guevara in the 21st minute. The corner ended in Juan Pablo Pantaleon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Maitencillo's Higinio Letelier did a great save. Juan Pablo Pantaleon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Higinio Letelier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Maitencillo getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Arnaldo Beausejour hit a great ball. Higinio Letelier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Bustunzuria in the 34th minute of the match. Carlos Hernán Brieba took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quim Salcedo. Quim Salcedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Edelmiro Bustunzuria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Letelier having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Andoni Domínguez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Higinio Letelier was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edelmiro Bustunzuria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reyes Vives's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quim Salcedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. If Andoni Domínguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Quim Duarte was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. In the 71st minute, Quim Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience cheered when Romeo Guevara's long shot passed Higinio Letelier's right side. It was 2-2, 72 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Andoni Domínguez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Higinio Letelier was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Higinio Letelier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Bustunzuria in the 80th minute of the match. With his leg Higinio Letelier managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Chaihuin AFC's Andoni Domínguez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Higinio Letelier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Bustunzuria, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chaihuin AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
