In the 9th minute Jose Esteban Nolibuat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quim Salcedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cato AFC's Gervasio Albarran in 13 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Quim Salcedo guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Andoni Domínguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelino Solminihac in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Frances Lauwerens, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 20th minute, Andoni Domínguez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frances Lauwerens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andoni Domínguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frances Lauwerens having to interfere. After 27 minutes, Angelino Solminihac mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chaihuin AFC and the Cato AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes Chaihuin AFC got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Solminihac. After some careless play in the Cato AFC defense, Angelino Solminihac kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frances Lauwerens. The Cato AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frances Lauwerens should have stopped the shot. Frances Lauwerens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andoni Domínguez in the 38th minute of play. Andoni Domínguez took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frances Lauwerens. Frances Lauwerens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Angelino Solminihac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frances Lauwerens having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, Cato AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Israel Lecuna to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Andoni Domínguez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chaihuin AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andoni Domínguez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frances Lauwerens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andoni Domínguez to make the kick off. A collision led to Chaihuin AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Orlondón Fuente hit a great ball. Andoni Domínguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frances Lauwerens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andoni Domínguez in the 66th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Esteban Nolibuat in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quim Salcedo saved Chaihuin AFC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodor Tupper during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85thth minute of the game Jose Esteban Nolibuat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chaihuin AFC's Quim Salcedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angelino Solminihac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frances Lauwerens having to interfere. Quim Salcedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Esteban Nolibuat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Esteban Nolibuat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Quim Salcedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chaihuin AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
