Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Esteban Rossel got the match started through his kick off. Lucián Besoain charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucián Besoain the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 2 played minutes Alfalfal got a freekick which was hit by Lucián Besoain. In the 3rd minute, Luis Eduardo Marcó got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Catalina's goal looked a bit too open when Menéndez Ambrosio came free, but Guido Campo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Fidelio Angosto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guido Campo. Catalina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fidelio Angosto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Eladio Manns's late challenge caught a Alfalfal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eladio Manns helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Catalina getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Eladio Manns hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Alfalfal's Isaiás Cuellar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Guido Campo came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Alfalfal's Fidelio Angosto. But to his dismay, Fidelio Angosto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Fidelio Angosto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Esteban Rossel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Epifanío Bennet. Alfalfal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteban Rossel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Luis Eduardo Marcó managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catalina's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Eduardo Marcó was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanío Bennet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Catalina booed when Alfalfal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúlo Puga didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Luis Eduardo Marcó had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, one of Alfalfal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alfalfal. In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Catalina. Justo Ross stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Epifanío Bennet. 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Menéndez Ambrosio was the one to do the kick off. Luis Eduardo Marcó received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Epifanío Bennet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isadoro Jodar during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Isadoro Jodar kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Esteban Rossel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanío Bennet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Alfalfal's Raúlo Puga got a free kick in the 59th minute. Epifanío Bennet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Eduardo Marcó in the 61st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Eduardo Marcó got free with Epifanío Bennet in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the match, Alfalfal's goalkeeper Epifanío Bennet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Eduardo Marcó. 67 minutes into the game, Ysidro Catrilao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alfalfal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catalina the free kick. A collision led to Alfalfal getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ysidro Catrilao hit a great ball. In the 68th match minute, Catalina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Eduardo Marcó to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Alfalfal's Fidelio Angosto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guido Campo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Epifanío Bennet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Rossel in the 73rd minute of the match. Guido Campo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Menéndez Ambrosio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ysidro Catrilao's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guido Campo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Guido Campo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Menéndez Ambrosio in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the Catalina defense, Fidelio Angosto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guido Campo. The Catalina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guido Campo should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Menéndez Ambrosio in the 89th minute of play forced Catalina's goalkeeper Guido Campo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Menéndez Ambrosio struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Guido Campo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alfalfal. Guido Campo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidelio Angosto in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Alfalfal had won after a very even match.
