Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nafarroa Abogabir started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Majadilla FC's zone, Jacobo Madina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Martínez came out of the goal and Jacobo Madina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the match, Majadilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipo Menichetti came free, but Teodoro Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-2 became the score in the 14th minute when Felipo Menichetti elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lester Lauwerens hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Normando Quintero made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Ignacio Maffet in the 22nd minute. If Jacobo Madina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Ignacio Maffet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Normando Quintero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacobo Madina made a kick off. When Felipo Menichetti fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pucalan's protests and gave Felipo Menichetti a yellow card for diving instead. When José Ignacio Maffet came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Majadilla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Ignacio Maffet couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute, Pucalan's Quique Cabañas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Quique Cabañas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pucalan protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Quique Cabañas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Normando Quintero went to the wrong direction when Jeronimo Graumann was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Jeronimo Graumann hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Pucalan's goal looked a bit too open when Nafarroa Abogabir came free, but Normando Quintero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Pucalan getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Lester Lauwerens hit a great ball. The supporters of Pucalan booed when Majadilla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferrán Federici didn't get a good kick on the ball. If José Ignacio Maffet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pucalan's Normando Quintero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nafarroa Abogabir in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pucalan's Jacobo Madina got a free kick in the 97th minute. The Pucalan supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pucalan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
