In the 13th match minute, Sacaya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Miguel Andrade to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Quim Poyancos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Palomar AFC's Albano Pulido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Wilkenson in the 20th minute of play. Abelado Abumohor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quim Poyancos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Luis Patri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th match minute, Palomar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salamón Fridman to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sacaya FC's goalkeeper Quim Poyancos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Telmo Wilkenson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Sacaya FC booed when Palomar AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Jose Ahues didn't get a good kick on the ball.
