Miguel Ángel Tupper might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abel Carvallo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Ángel Tupper ran back to his position shaking his head. Yeray Lanz charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yeray Lanz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yeray Lanz kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Callejones's Ondino Rio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustavo Bezanilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Callejones's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Miguel Ángel Tupper 13 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Gustavo Bezanilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ondino Rio in the 31st minute of the match. Abel Carvallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Ángel Tupper in the 39th minute of play. Miguel Ángel Tupper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Guavina AFC's Vicens Solares got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a rather tough play, Callejones's Luis María Berau got a free kick in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leopoldo Villablanca was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Vicens Almendras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guavina AFC and the Callejones players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Guavina AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicens Almendras to maneuver through the defense. Zenaido Dean got in the 54th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Gustavo Bezanilla. This was a shot which ended in a score of 1-2. If Ondino Rio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marino Rosas in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Carvallo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 73 played minutes Guavina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Vicens Solares. After a rather tough play, Guavina AFC's José Ignacio Salah got a free kick in the 78th minute. Leopoldo Villablanca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leopoldo Villablanca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Bezanilla having to interfere. In the 90thth minute of the game Miguel Ángel Tupper who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Callejones's Abel Carvallo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zavier Weisser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Gustavo Bezanilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Guavina AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicens Solares to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Leopoldo Villablanca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Callejones players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
