If Saverio Lefebre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Linua AFC's goalkeeper Matias Backhouse, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teodosio Puyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Lefebre in the 35th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saverio Lefebre couldn't finish the play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gervasio Jelves to strike the kick off in the second half. Florentino Alcázar struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Matias Backhouse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caburgua FC. Matias Backhouse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Federici in the 57th minute of play. After 61 minutes, Basilio Von Stillfried mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caburgua FC and the Linua AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caburgua FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 63 minutes, Linua AFC's Paulino Anabalon got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Teodosio Puyo. The supporters of Linua AFC booed when Caburgua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Alcerreca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodosio Puyo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Paulino Anabalon. Florentino Alcázar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gervasio Jelves in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodosio Puyo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 84 minutes into the game, Tanausu Barth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Linua AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caburgua FC the free kick. The supporters of Caburgua FC booed when Linua AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tanausu Barth didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Saverio Lefebre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Linua AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
