Romano Daguerressar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hualcuna FC's Marín Deneken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilio Araus in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Teofilio Araus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 20 minutes, Orlín Arbieto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paipote AFC and the Hualcuna FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hermenegildo Faine struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Anselmo Vasconcelos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hualcuna FC. 24 minutes into the match, Paipote AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Romano Daguerressar came free, but Anselmo Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermenegildo Faine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Anselmo Vasconcelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marín Deneken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilio Araus in the 29th minute of play. Silvino Aguayo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marín Deneken having to make a save. Marín Deneken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilio Araus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bonifacio Losada charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bonifacio Losada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, Bonifacio Losada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romano Daguerressar in the 44th minute of play. Anselmo Vasconcelos made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Hermenegildo Faine sent off a good shot on target. Hualcuna FC's José Alberto Sanfuentes got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romano Daguerressar made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Paipote AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Lanchares to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Vasconcelos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romano Daguerressar went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilio Araus in the 67th minute of play forced Hualcuna FC's goalkeeper Marín Deneken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermenegildo Faine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Romano Daguerressar scored 2-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anselmo Vasconcelos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anselmo Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romano Daguerressar in the 81st minute of play. When Hualcuna FC's Hermenegildo Faine in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the match, Teofilio Araus dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marín Deneken, 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
