Caya's Juan Raúl Galindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaume Paravic in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Jaume Paravic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Raúl Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermenegildo Diena hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the game, Iván Pasten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pidpid the free kick. Domingo Caszely fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermenegildo Poveda having to interfere. Celino Samaniego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Raúl Galindo having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaume Paravic stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pidpid's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ferrán Amthauer in the 54th minute. Jaume Paravic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domingo Caszely fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermenegildo Poveda having to interfere. Domingo Caszely scored 1-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hermenegildo Poveda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaume Paravic in the 70th minute of play forced Caya's goalkeeper Juan Raúl Galindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermenegildo Poveda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingo Caszely in the 71st minute. A collision led to Caya getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Hermenegildo Diena hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute of the match Ferrán Amthauer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Raúl Galindo skillfully saved the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Caya's goal looked a bit too open when Jaume Paravic came free, but Juan Raúl Galindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 minutes, Celino Samaniego made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Caya's Juan Raúl Galindo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 84 minutes into the game, Nemesio Unzaga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hermenegildo Poveda. Nemesio Unzaga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. If Celino Samaniego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaume Paravic in the 95th minute of play forced Caya's goalkeeper Juan Raúl Galindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Pidpid's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Unzaga came free, but Hermenegildo Poveda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Caya players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Pidpid from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
